All rooms are beautifully furnished in this magnificent Victorian semi-detached house built in 1896 which displays all the character and original features you would expect in a house from that period. Only 200 yards from the entrance to the Western House Hotel, less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, 5 minutes drive from the railway station and beach, with the Racecourse just over the garden wall, the situation is ideal.
Ayrshire also hosts over 40 golf courses, including the famous Open Championship courses at Turnberry, Old Prestwick and Royal Troon and quality municipal courses such as Belleisle and Lochgreen.
Bowlers who wish to watch or participate in the many championship bowling tournaments that take place at Scotland''s National Bowling Centre at Ayr Northfield will enjoy being so close with less than a 5 minute drive from Craigie Guest House.
Ayr is famous for being the birthplace of the renowned poet Robert Burns and the Burn''s cottage & Museum is a popular tourist attraction. Culzean Castle owned by the National Trust for Scotland is only a 20 minute drive down the beautiful Ayrshire countryside.
